*A summer resort 4 miles from Ringgold, the county seat, 2 from Catoosa station, the nearest railroad and express station, and 26 miles from Chattanooga, Tenn., the nearest banking town. There are more than fifty springs of different medicinal properties flowing within an area of two acres. Telegraph office at the hotel. Ship via Ringgold. Was established as a post office in 1881, and receives a daily mail by stage. W. P. Campbell, postmaster.
